Ekk Deewana Tha is a romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Menon and produced by Fox Star Studios, Photon Kathaas and R.S. Infotainment, it is a remake of Gautham Menons own Tamil film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, which was later remade into Telugu as Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010. The star cast of the movie includes Prateik Babbar, Amy Jackson, Manu Rishi, Sachin Khedekar, Samantha, Ashwin Kakumanu, Babu Antony & Ramesh Sippy.
